Gamgilebo is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and both non-agricultural and preindustrial in nature.
- These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- These worldlets are working towards being an industrial world but lack an adequate workforce to do so.
- It is a client state of the Third Imperium in the Vhodan Subsector of Vland Sector.
- Gamgilebo is located on the Vilani Main.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Gamgilebo is a trinary star system.
- The primary is a turbulent white subgiant named Tillad.
- The secondary is a red main sequence named Satra.
- The tertiary is an unnamed red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
The Tillad-Sitra system
- Smarak, an scorched vacuum world orbiting within the hot inner system, very close to the two stars.
- Delibo, a very hot thin atmosphere desert world orbiting within the inner system.
- Parah, a tiny, very hot vacuum worldlet orbiting within the inner system.
- The Lavifa Belt, a narrow rocky planetoid belt lying within the inner system.
- Getes, a massive, heat-swollen gas giant orbiting at the warm inner edge of the habitable zone.
- Akin, a warm ice giant orbiting within the habitable zone.
- The Gamgilebo Belt, a broad rocky asteroid belt designated as the mainworld and lying within the outer system.
- Three large frigidly cold ice-capped worlds form the far outer system. They are designated alpha (α), beta (β), and gamma (γ).
Tertiary Star
- The distant unnamed tertiary star retains a single tiny vacuum worldlet, also unnamed.
- A chart depicting the Gamgilebo system, based on data provided in "The Flaming Eye".
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Gamgilebo is an Asteroid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects.
- Asteroid Belt is the belt when it is the mainworld of a system.
- Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
None of the bodies within the Gamgilebo belt retain an atmosphere.
- The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
- TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The Gamgilebo belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Gamgilebo has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Gamgilebo has a population of 20,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Gamgilebo possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World Government (G)[edit]
Gamgilebo is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
World Law (L)[edit]
Gamgilebo has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 2 (ordinary)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: C (very abundant)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: C (very extensive)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 6 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: 9 (friendly)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat distinct)
- Symbols: A (abstract)
World Timeline[edit]
Major events that have affected this world and the wider region that it lies within:
- -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka claims and settles worlds across the region.
- -3810: the Vargr discover jump technology and begin an era of expansion.
- -2404 to -2215: the Interstellar Wars.
- -2204 to -1776: the Rule of Man administers the worlds of the region. Conflicts escalate between Vargr and humans as the Vargr occupy former Ziru Sirka territory.
- circa -1700: Vargr rimward expansion gradually ceases: the border between human and Vargr space stabilizes.
- -1776 to 0: the Long Night. There is widespread regression within the area and some worlds become barren.
- The Year 0: the Third Imperium is founded.
- 300-420: the First Survey charts the system.
- 604 to 622: the Imperial Civil War. The region suffers disruption and widespread economic issues.
- 624: the Express Boat Network is established, facilitating communications, trade, and economic growth within the area.
- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published. Information about the system becomes widely available.
