Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Freeman Five is a minor political entity lying within the Winston Democracy.
- Its member worlds all lie within Aldebaran Sector.
- It has five member systems.
Clusters[edit]
The Freeman Five forms the spinward half of the Freeman Seven, a small cluster lying across the far rimward border between Aldebaran Sector and Neworld Sector.
Goals[edit]
The state's primary purpose is providing a voice for the lower population worlds of the Freeman Seven, a cluster that forms part of the Winston Democracy. Member worlds of the cluster vote on local matters, but the massive population of Cathedral, a high population industrial world, overwhelmingly vote in favor of their own world's interests. The Freeman Five exists as a means for these lower population worlds to make independent decisions.
- Lyndon, in Neworld Sector, is unpopulated and does not qualify as a member of the Five.
Interstellar Relations[edit]
It is a member state of the Winston Democracy.
Military & Intelligence[edit]
The Navy of the Winston Democracy (known as the People's Democratic Navy or PDN) defends its member worlds.
There is a PDN Naval Base at Freeman itself.
