Agrdhaen is a poor, non-agricultural and pre-industrial desert world with no free-standing water.

  • It has a moderate population of over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts in size.
  • It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
  • It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
  • Life here is tough. The severe climate and inability to grow adequate food sources make for a trying life here. Planetary leaders hope to expand its industrial sector and begin exporting manufactured goods in the near future.
  • It is a member of the Empire of Varroerth in the Serrken Subsector of Ngathksirz Sector, which is part of the Vargr Extents.
  • This world toils under the control of a military government with conditions reflecting that situation including curtailed civil rights and limited freedoms.
  • This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
  • This world has a Vargr Corsair Base.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Agrdhaen is a trinary star system.

  • The primary is an unstable white subgiant.
  • The secondary is a white dwarf stellar remnant.
  • The tertiary is a yellow main sequence.

System Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data[edit]

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Agrdhaen is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Agrdhaen has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Agrdhaen has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Agrdhaen has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

  • The world is host to a Vargr Corsair Base.
  • Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.

World Population (P)[edit]

Agrdhaen has a population of 400,000,000 sophonts (hundreds of millions).

  • The population entirely consists of Vargr.

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

Agrdhaen possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government (G)[edit]

Agrdhaen has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. A colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.

World Law (L)[edit]

Agrdhaen has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

Trade Data[edit]

  • Importance: 2 (ordinary)

World Economy[edit]

  • Resources: 7 (few)
