Domain

A Domain is a group of four sectors within the Imperium. These Domains are under the general control and direction of an Archduke. The Domains are listed below in order of creation.

Domain of Sylea

Core, Fornast, Massilia, Delphi

Domain of Vland

Corridor, Vland, Gushemege, Dagudashaag

Domain of Gateway

Ley, Gateway*, Glimmerdrift Reaches, Crucis Margin*

Domain of Ilelish

Ilelish, Zarushagaar, Reaver's Deep, Daibei

Verge†

Domain of Antares

Meshan*, Mendan*, Lishun, Antares

Empty Quarter†

Meshan and Mendan Sectors were mostly imperial controlled at the time of the First Imperium.

Domain of Sol

Diaspora, Old Expanses, Solomani Rim, Alpha Crucis

Hinterworlds†, Magyar†

Domain of Deneb

Spinward Marches, Deneb, Trojan Reach, Reft‡

* Although technically a part of a domain, these sectors are outside of the Imperium.

The Ziru Sirka controlled most of Meshan and Mendan sectors, but they are entirely outside the bounds of the Third Imperium.

Gateway and Crucis Margin sectors are entirely outside the bounds of the Imperium and the Ziru Sirka.

† Although these sectors are not within the bounds of any domain, their Imperial portions are administered by the indicated domain.

‡ For practical reasons, the rimward-trailing portion of Reft Sector is administered by the Domain of Vland. Otherwise Reft sector is administered as part of the Domain of Deneb.
