Stuart is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a member of the Regency of Muirimi in the Joseph Subsector of Theron Sector.
- It is a binary world.
- It is a balmy tropical world, with a climate of high temperatures.
- This world has an exploration base, which is similar to an Imperial Scout base, capable of handling explorer personnel and exploratory starships.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Stuart is a trinary star system.
- The primary is a yellow main sequence.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.
- The tertiary is a red main sequence.
- Under Sitaraist belief, the primary is considered a "good star".
Stuart has three stars in the star system. Stuart

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x3 secondary rocky worlds.
- x5 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Stuart is the major component in a binary planet pair.
- The two worlds have a similar mass.
- The two worlds orbit a barycenter once every few days.
The mainworld and its smaller companion world orbit towards the inner edge of the primary star's habitable zone.
- They receive relativly high levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Stuart is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
- Tidal stresses generated by the world's binary companion cause frequent seismic and geological activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Stuart has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. While a Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences relatively high temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Stuart has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Stuart is an outpost that serves as a transit point for interstellar trade. It has been settled for centuries.
The population are culturally Muirimi, with most of the inhabitants able to trace their origins back to the central Asian and Indian subcontinent regions of Terra. The majority are followers of Sitaraism, a form of star-worship.
The world formed part of an ancient Muirimi state called the "Roshanee Kee Ekata", or the "Unity of Light", more commonly known as the Unity of Stars: the region was sometimes referred to as "Far Tibet". It was home to reclusive sects of monks dedicated to achieving personal enlightenment and unlocking inner powers. The Unity and its member worlds chose to join the Regency of Muirimi upon its formation.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Stuart has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Stuart has a population of 100, all employees of the starport and their dependents.
Urbanization[edit]
A single central facility, adjacent to the starport, with a few outlying structures and compounds.
- These are centered on the Exploration base.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Stuart possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Stuart is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
World Military[edit]
Privately employed security staff.
World Law (L)[edit]
Stuart has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: A (abundant)
- Labor: 1 (tens)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 2 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 3 (somewhat typical)
- Symbols: 5 (concrete)
This world is part of the Muirimi culture.
- The religion of Sitaraism is widely followed.
