Sejchiet is a high-population world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- It is a member of the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity in the Dlarashtsalash Subsector of Yiklerzdanzh Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
- This world-system has a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces, which may be located on or off-world.
- A significant population of Droyne exists on this world.
- A large number of Zhodani inhabit this world.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Sejchiet has a solitary primary star.
- It is a white main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been partially surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- An unknown number of secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x5 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zone's prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits beyond the star's Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Sejchiet is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Sejchiet has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
- It experiences moderate temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Sejchiet has 55-65% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Satellites[edit]
Sejchiet retains two small vacuum moons.
- They orbit once every few days.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Sejchiet has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to a Naval Base.
- The world is host to a major Military Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Sejchiet has a population of 90,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
World Demographics[edit]
- The population largely consists of Vlazhdumecta humans.
- A significant community of Droyne (in excess of 5 billion) reside on the world.
- Droyne organise themselves into oytripin, which consist of multiple tyafelmin and dreskayin, and can produce kroylosses.
- A large number of Zhodani (almost 4 billion individuals) are found on the world.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most widely spoken language is Vlazhdumecta.
- Most individuals know a few words and phrases of Zdetl.
The Droyne population on the world speak Oynprith, a ceremonial and ritualistic language apparently universal among Droyne communities.
- Other languages are used in casual day-to-day affairs.
The Zhodani resident on the world speak Zdetl.
Urbanization[edit]
Settled areas on a Vlazhdumecta world will feature Kishik ("Places of Contemplation"), used for quiet experience of the sublime. Most settlements have a variety of such places, whether constructed (the equivalent of Solomani churches and monasteries) or natural (e.g. preserved beauty spots).
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Sejchiet possesses a Technology Level of TL–14 or TL-E in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early meson communicators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, early collectors, and advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-5.
World Government (G)[edit]
Sejchiet is governed by a Charismatic Oligarchy, like a charismatic dictatorship in that a larger group has asserted their right to rule. The group will likely have better rules of succession than a single dictator and may last longer, or may transition to a non-charismatic dictatorship.
World Law (L)[edit]
Sejchiet has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Culture[edit]
The world lies within the Zhodani Shadow, a region strongly influenced by the society and culture of the Zhodani Consulate.
