Linguistic Topography: 1105[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:
- Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Imperium, and common to many Human worlds across Charted Space.
- Gvegh: The language family of Vargr cultures at the spinward extreme of the Vargr Extents.
- Logaksu: The language family of a prominent Vargr cultural and ethnic bloc.
- Urzaeng: The language family of a prominent Vargr cultural bloc and subspecies in the coreward and trailing region of the Vargr Extents.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Imperium, and common to many Human worlds across Charted Space.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Listanaya Sector was settled by the Nakagun Vargr some time in the years between -3700 and -2800 as they were among the ostracized Vargr ethnicities to leave Lair.
Population in Listanaya tends to cluster at relatively isolated fortress worlds with very high populations. The sector's people are therefore concentrated at worlds like Kurzek (Listanaya 0224), Faghzenthaez (Listanaya 0420), Uelus (Listanaya 1716) and Agueghgvul (Listanaya 2123), all of which carry the In (Industrial) trade code. Additionally, these Industrial worlds serve as "stepping off" urban peninsulae reaching into the coreward frontiers.
