Description (Specifications)

The Karhyri race acquired the jump drive from a wrecked Hiver ship. The subsequent journey to return the bodies of the Hiver crew is key to current Karhyri attitudes -- to them, this was a matter of solemn honour, and they were offended by the idle curiosity and general indifference displayed by the Hivers they eventually reached. Today, the Karhyri are wary of aliens but not hostile, trading with nations like the Cytrialin Unity and the Kargol, but holding Hivers in disdain.

The Karhyri control six worlds (five of them on the Cytrial Main) and show no desire to expand further.

The common language is known as Karhyr.

Foreign Relations

The Karhyri are deeply mistrustful of the arrogant Syzlin Republic, but have a relatively good relationship with breakaway Osaka. They also have good relations with the Cytrialin Unity and the Kargol Confederation, both to rimward. They share a peaceful border with the former.

Military Capabilities

The exact capabilities of Karhyri ships are not widely known. Customs vessels within Karhyri Worlds space and scouts and traders outside of it are frequently encountered, but the actual military craft keep a low profile.

Ground Forces

The planet Tstata is home to an elite unit of Advanced Recon Commandos under the command of a Solomani officer named General Noah Papadopoulos.

Naval Forces

The Karhyri Worlds Navy or KWN consists of one main battle fleet, stationed at the homeworld.

• The other member worlds have system defense squadrons assigned proportional with their ship building ability and their population.
• Samples of their ship designs include the Grom Class Destroyer and the White Dragon Class Carrier.
