Subsector L of Banners Sector.
- It is located within Charted Space, rimward of the Solomani Confederation.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This sparse subsector is named for a desert region on Terra, and many of its systems are named as references to Terran geography. The population is almost entirely Solomani, including the Enten Corporation in a trailing pocket on the Hanstone border, and a collection of independent civilized worlds clustered in the coreward-spinward corner.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Gobi, subsector L of Banners, contains ten worlds with an estimated combined population of less than 1 million, an unknown (but small) per capita income, and a total economy of unknown size. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr181 through 0 starports (0 Class A, 0 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 31,240 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 1 (with most between 0 and 3). The highest technology level is 5 at [[(world)|]] (Banners 2921).
Gobi, subsector L of Banners, contains 15 stars; five monostellar systems, five binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 7 of the ten systems (70%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, no Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
