Vald, subsector K of Alpha Crucis, contains 24 worlds with an estimated combined population of 698 million, a per capita income of Cr3,458, and a total economy of BCr2,414. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr43 through 21 starports (2 Class A, 10 Class B, 8 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 6,640 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Vald maintain five Naval bases and three Military bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Zilon (Alpha Crucis 1924), Flora (Alpha Crucis 2122), and Haven (Alpha Crucis 2324).
Vald, subsector K of Alpha Crucis, contains 34 stars and 250 identified planets; 14 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 20 of the 24 systems (83%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Vald has an estimated population of 698 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 17 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Teta Lise (Alpha Crucis 2127) and Ben's Oath (Alpha Crucis 2426). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Solomani Confederation
The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over 18 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 152 million, a per capita income of Cr2,960, and a total economy of BCr450. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr14 through 15 starports (1 Class A, 7 Class B, 6 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 2,460 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Solomani Confederation maintain three Naval bases and three Military bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Zilon (Alpha Crucis 1924), Flora (Alpha Crucis 2122), and Haven (Alpha Crucis 2324).

The highest population world is Ben's Oath (Alpha Crucis 2426). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
- The Solomani Confederation subsector capital of Vald is Pesacce (Alpha Crucis 2129).
Non-Aligned, Human-dominated
There are six Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Vald with an estimated combined population of 546 million.
The entire subsector lies within the borders of the Solomani Confederation and contains 6 non-aligned worlds. Vald is sparsely populated and the subsector is largely isolated from major trade routes, save for a few worlds to coreward. The majority of Vald was settled within the last century or so by Solomani immigrants from within the sector.
