Description (Specifications)
Outrange Subsector is a backwater region. The Chacinti, a minor race native to Haradin in Mavuzog Sector, have founded settlements and outposts on a number of its coreward worlds.

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Cleft Subsector:
- The subsector is a low stellar density region.
- The brightest star is the blue bright giant primary of the Chanison system.
- No trade routes are noted as crossing the region.

Rift Regions
One rift area lies within the subsector: the Divine Rift.

Locally at least, a rift is an astrographic concept based on Jump Drive performance.
The highest tech level commonly encountered out this Far Along (spinward of the Third Imperium) is TL–12, though a few worlds may be more advanced.
- This level of technology allows the routine use of up to Jump-3 drives.
- Areas that cannot be crossed by Jump-3-capable vessels are denoted as rifts.
Borealis Group
The Borealis Group can be seen as a bright, dense, noticeable grouping of stars in the skies to coreward-trailing.
- It is a huge cluster of stars centered on the supergiant Theta Borealis.
- It is a distinctive astrographic feature that can be observed from all across Charted Space.
Subsector Summary: 1105
Outrange, subsector A of Harea, contains 13 worlds with an estimated combined population of 14 million, a per capita income of Cr1,857, and a total economy of BCr26. Driving this economy are one Agricultural (Ag) world, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Outrange maintain three Scout bases and one Naval base. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 5 and 9). The highest technology level is 10 at Eresolu (Harea 0302).
Outrange, subsector A of Harea, contains 17 stars and 114 identified planets; nine monostellar systems, four binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 11 of the 13 systems (84%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, four Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Outrange has an estimated population of 14 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, eight Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Porfira (Harea 0506), Divine (Harea 0303), and Versolin (Harea 0101). The population consists primarily of 4 sophont groups including one native sophont.
