The Rhinegold class Destroyer is a warship.

Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a vessel with 3-G and J-3 performance with a streamlined Wedge Hull.
- It carries light armament and a defensive suite.
- It ordinarily carries no subcraft, no ship's vehicles, and drones when needed.
- It has a # sophont crew and # marines.
The Rhinegold class have screens, a repulsor bay and a battery of sandcasters for defense, in addition to the armored hull and the vessel's agility. Beam laser and fusion gun batteries can be used for point defense versus missile salvos as well as to attack with. The class lacks meson weaponry, but particle accelerator and missile bays provide a powerful offensive capability.

The wedge-shaped hull has a flattened profile with large lateral pods. The vessel has good atmospheric performance.
