Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Faker class Fleet Escort is a warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This Faker class design is deployed in the battle squadrons of the Mapepire Cluster. It carries a 60-ton shuttle, and a squadron of fighters. They have a back up model 6 fib computer, which is used in the event of battle damage. Otherwise, it is used to coordinate flight operations. It has Jump-3 range and 3 Gs acceleration and 3-Agility. It uses an inexpensive and unstreamlined planetoid hull. It is armed with a battery of sand casters and two batteries triple beam lasers. There is a battery of fusion guns, a repulsor bay and a particle accelerator bay. It carries four heavy missile bays. The cluster admiralty see it as a valuable design detached to patrol and escort vital fleet elements. It can not stand in the line of battle as the hull size precludes a spinal mounted meson gun.
