IISS practically discovered the world by accident in 612, and small chemical company built a fluid harvesting facility. The world has a high amount of metals in its core, and the acid atmosphere naturally dissolve and pickle this material. This material deposited in shallow pools near the surface, and the Naxxim Corporation built massive plastic domes on their shores to protect from which they pump and strain the resulting broth.

There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

- ca -250,000: The Ancients were active within the region, transplanting the Vargr onto Lair.
- -9235: the Vilani discover jump technology. A few explorers and settlers begin to pioneer the region.
- -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka claims a few rimward worlds and establishes a firm border. The Windhorn Rift and the absence of any significant Mains discourages large-scale Vilani expansion into the region.
- -3810: the Vargr discover jump technology and begin an era of expansion.
- -2400s: Vargr raiding into human-dominated areas significantly increases. This becomes known as the Vargr Pillaging.
- ca -1700: Vargr rimward expansion gradually ceases: the border between human and Vargr space stabilizes.
- -1776 to 0: the Long Night. There is widespread regression within the area and some worlds become barren.
- The Year 0: to rimward-trailing, the Third Imperium is founded.
- circa 26: the Empire of Varroerth is founded.

The world was inhabited in the year 0, but sometime between then and the First Survey it was lost from the star charts in circulation (See also Overlook). It was only rediscovered in 612.
History-Era: Rebellion[edit]
After the Dzarrgh Federate took over the world in 1116, Naxxim could no longer finance the facility, and evacuated its workers and their families to the Domain of Deneb safe during the next decade. The company went bankrupt and was liquidated during the 1140s, and ownership of the world is in limbo.
- The atmosphere and seismic activity has probably rendered the domes useless, so there doesn't seem to be much interest in reclaiming the world.
