Limada was claimed by the Vilani millennia ago and was eventually absorbed into the Ziru Sirka. It was nominally under the authority of the Rule of Man prior to the Long Night.

• It has ruins and remains on its surface dating to before the founding of the Ziru Sirka.

It is a Puzzle World and is designated as an Amber Zone. It presents particular risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that are not well understood.

• Visitors are advised to act with caution.

Limada has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

Limada has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. Most worlds with this law level may be an Amber Zone or Red Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). All aspects of life rigidly controlled with disproportionate punishments for even minor legal infractions. There is no difference between the police and the military. This world is a full-fledged police state. Oppression is legalized and routine.

• -3810: the Vargr discover jump technology and begin an era of expansion.
• -3700s onwards: waves of Vargr settle worlds across the region.
• -2204 to -1776: the Rule of Man nominally administers the rimward worlds of the region. Conflicts escalate between Vargr and humans as the Vargr occupy former Ziru Sirka territory.
• -1776 to 0: the Long Night. There is widespread regression within the area and some worlds become barren.
• -1658: the Sack of Gashikan, an atrocity known throughout the coreward parts of Charted Space.
• -1427: the Wolvesbane plague is released in Gashikan Sector, decimating Vargr populations.
• The Year 0: to rimward, the Third Imperium is founded.
• circa 26: the Empire of Varroerth is founded.
• circa 170: the various Ruler of Five precursor states begin a centuries-long war of dominance.
