Subsector C of Leonidae Sector.

Description[edit]

Every world in this subsector is part of a single main. Kargol and Harodari trade vessels move between its systems.

Traders from the Third Imperium, having completed the Alike Run and from there accessed the Adshum Main, occasionally travel here; in the 800s, this led to contact with Dynchia to rimward via the Harodar Hegemony.

Kuzuu (Leonidae 1809) is a religious autocracy with severe punishment for petty infractions; it shares a (deeply intolerant) culture with Masada (Leonidae 1813) to rimward in Lombard Subsector. This culture has forbidden development of the worlds between their systems -- which suits their equivalents on the trailing side of the subsector just fine, as this means traffic has to go through them instead.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Kah-Wak, subsector C of Leonidae, contains 48 worlds with an estimated combined population of 16 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,262, and a total economy of BCr70,858. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr137 through 20 starports (2 Class A, 4 Class B, 10 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 17,190 people. Driving this interstellar trade are nine Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Kah-Wak maintain six Naval bases and two Military bases. The average technology level is 4 (with most between 0 and 8). The highest technology level is 14 at Ueda (Leonidae 2007).

Kah-Wak, subsector C of Leonidae, contains TBD stars and TBD identified planets; TBD monostellar systems, TBD binary systems, TBD trinary systems, and TBD systems with four or more stars. 42 of the 48 systems (87%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, three Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, no Poor (Po) worlds, 11 Vacuum (Va) worlds, and four Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Kah-Wak has an estimated population of 16 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 35 Low population (Lo) worlds, and 23 Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Tola (Leonidae 2106). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.

Non-Aligned[edit]

There are 21 Non-Aligned worlds in Kah-Wak with an estimated combined population of 10 billion.

Kargol Confederation[edit]

The Kargol Confederation has jurisdiction over four worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 6 billion. The population consists primarily of two sophont groups.

Unclaimed[edit]

23 worlds are under no claimed jurisdiction, with an estimated combined population of less than 1 million, a per capita income of Cr0, and a total economy of BCr0. Driving this economy are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds.
