Kagamira is a high-population, industrial world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- Its economy is rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to rapidly improve barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Kagamira Subsector of Vland Sector in the Domain of Vland.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
- This world has an Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
- This world has colonies at Anik and Duam.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Kagamira has a solitary primary star.
- It is a yellow main sequence.
Stellar Data[edit]
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x5 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Kagamira is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Kagamira has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Kagamira has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Extensive populations of Hoplites, large, heavily armored grazing creatures, inhabit plains and steppe terrain on this world.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Kagamira has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to an Imperial Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Kagamira has a population of 50,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
Urbanization[edit]
- Vilani cities are planned under the assumption that most transport traffic will be communal rather than private. Typically, only high-ranking manager or executive-class citizens will own their own ground cars or air/rafts.
- Vilani buildings are almost always square or rectangular, which means that when combined with a city's radial layout, there are innumerable triangular bits of land left over. This is deliberate; the leftover space is used for parks and other public facilities.
- One of the few outstanding features of Vilani architecture is its emphasis on ease of communication. Vilani buildings are specially designed with group interaction in mind. Meeting rooms form an integral part of every building.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Kagamira possesses a Technology Level of TL–14 or TL-E in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early meson communicators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, early collectors, and advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-5.
World Government (G)[edit]
Kagamira is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. The government leadership may select the bureaucracy leadership, but not its membership. Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy, and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. This ruling bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucractic apparatus or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence, like the military.
World Law (L)[edit]
Kagamira has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Machine guns, other automatic weapons, portable energy weapons, and other military weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
- The civil police are the Mashkim.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Kagamira, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdoms of two members of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial knight, the Imperial representative to the world.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial count.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial subsector duke, who also conducts affairs regarding the entire subsector at the Interstellar and Imperial level.
Trade Data[edit]
