Subsector F of Vland Sector.
Kagamira is an old, well-established subsector, with a rich history spanning ten thousand years. Although the earliest Vilani explorations went rimward and trailing (along the great Vilani Main), most of this subsector (to spinward of Vland) was nonetheless well settled by the time of the First Imperium. Thousands of years of development have wrought vast changes; the Third Imperium worlds of 1105 bear little resemblance to the originals. Many worlds have ruins and relics of several past ages; the majority of these reflect the glory that existed in this region before the Long Night.
Description[edit]
The Kagamira Subsector is defended by 71st Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Kagamira, subsector F of Vland, contains 28 worlds with an estimated combined population of 52 billion, a per capita income of Cr12,543, and a total economy of BCr663,616. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr9,874 through 23 starports (6 Class A, 6 Class B, 11 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 2,319,595 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Kagamira maintain seven Naval bases and five Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at The Uris Belt (Vland 1117) and Kagamira (Vland 1519).
Kagamira, subsector F of Vland, contains 38 stars and 304 identified planets; 18 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 15 of the 28 systems (53%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, five Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Kagamira has an estimated population of 52 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Kagamira (Vland 1519). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.
