Imperial Intelligence
Imperial Intelligence (ImpInt) is a collective term for the Intelligence gathering services of the Imperium [1][2], including the Imperial Intelligence Agency [3] (sometimes thought of as "Imperial Intelligence proper"), along with the Imperial Bureau of Investigation and Imperial Secret Service (ISS) [4][5], the IISS Intelligence Branch [6] (especially this branch's elite Espionage division), Imperial Naval Intelligence, Imperial Army Intelligence, as well as a few less well known sources of clandestine information gathering.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Imperial Intelligence is tasked with correlating and analyzing the data accumulated from many different sources, including the Agents of the Imperial Bureau of Investigation and Imperial Secret Service, information gathered by thousands of IISS Intelligence Branch Scouts (including former scouts on detached duty) as well as the military intelligence information gathered by the sources of the Imperial Forces, including Imperial Naval Intelligence (INI) and Imperial Army Intelligence (IAI). The Imperial Secret Service and the Espionage division of the IISS Intelligence Branch are engaged in performing active espionage and counter-espionage missions, including occasional black ops operations.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Imperial Intelligence works with other Imperial services such as the Ministry of Justice and the police and security apparatuses of planetary governments, as well as the IISS with its large number of retired scouts on detached duty and their associates, who provide both information and semi-deniable assets for covert operations.
