The Hkakhaeaw Sector is mostly located in the Great Rift.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The sector can be considered as two regions: Subsector P, Feiko Subsector, is a part of the Aslan Hierate, notably influenced by the Faowaou clan, which has membership in the Tlaukhu. Twenty-two systems across Feiko and two further in Subsector L (Eawoaaaoiy) are claimed by the Hierate. The rest of the sector falls within the Great Rift. A handful of rimward systems are accessible from Yahehwe Sector or by dropping a fuel cache, but systems in coreward Hkakhaeaw are incredibly isolated. The only expeditions to make the great effort to reach them were corporate in nature, and some made claims to potential sites of interest -- hence some charts will list these systems as being corporate-governed in spite of their lack of a population. In truth, nothing has come of these very loose claims, since actually settling or exploiting these systems would be a tremendous and expensive undertaking for little real reward.

Within the Hierate-claimed subsector, the two high-population systems of Hte'eari (2834) and Khtafiyraarl (3040) dominate. Hteia (Hkakhaeaw 2937), with a B-class starport on the route between the two, also has some political pull. So does Uiilrarlyow (Hkakhaeaw 3135), with its high population and industrial infrastructure. No other system is notable, all being in the shadow of the two giants.

When vessels belonging to clans which are at war come into contact, their actions are governed by the rules applicable to that particular clan war.
