Gvuekhluerar is a moderate population fluidic hellworld with over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts, who are struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.
- A fluid world has an oceanic geography consisting of heavily contaminated water or a substance such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquid.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often form intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
- It is a member of the 17th Disjuncture in the Kishadiku Subsector of Windhorn Sector, which is part of the Vargr Extents.
- It is a member of the Gvuekh Cluster.
- This world is the capital of the 17th Disjuncture, and has been the capital or center of administration for many previous Vargr polities in the vicinity which have come and gone over the millennia.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Gvuekhluerar is a quaternary star system.
- The primary is a white main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x10 secondary rocky worlds.
- x8 gas giants (four orbiting the primary-secondary binary pair, four orbiting the trinary-quaternary binary pair).
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar has a Corrosive Atmosphere and possesses a concentrated gas mix or unusual temperature which requires the use of a Hostile Environment Suit or Vacc Suit. TL–9 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar has 15-25% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice heavily tainted with other substances, which makes it dangerous, corrosive, or toxic. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds may be Hell Worlds.
- The water on the surface may be unsuitable for use or consumption without extensive filtering and purification.
- Refining for fuel may cause issues with shipboard purification plants.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar was originally claimed by the Vilani more than eight millennia ago and was eventually absorbed into the Ziru Sirka. It was nominally under the authority of the Rule of Man prior to the Long Night.
- It has Ziru Sirka-era ruins and remains on its surface.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.
World Population (P)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar has a population of 300,000,000 sophonts (hundreds of millions).
- The population entirely consists of Vargr.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Law (L)[edit]
Gvuekhluerar has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 2 (ordinary)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: J (extremely abundant)
- Labor: 7 (tens of millions)
- Infrastructure: B (very extensive)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 6 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: A (very friendly)
- Strangeness: 3 (somewhat typical)
- Symbols: 8 (somewhat abstract)
