The Windhorn Sector data was created by John G. Wood. The original and updated data can be found on his Windhorn page.
- Star positions were taken (as closely as possible) from the dot map in Vilani and Vargr, as were allegiances; subsector names come from Steve Bonneville's consolidated list.
Meta-History & Background: 2019-0604[edit]
Portions of Windhorn sector were designed by Joe D. Fugate Sr. and appear in The Flaming Eye (DGP, 1991).
- Stellar positions were developed by Joe D. Fugate Sr. and appear as a dotmap in The MegaTraveller Alien, Volume 1: Vilani & Vargr (Digest Group Publications, 1990).
- In 1981 and 1982, Classic Traveller Supplements 8 (Library Data (A-M) and 11 (Library Data (N-Z) were published.
- In 1984, Classic Traveller Vargr (Alien Module) was published.
- In 1990, MegaTraveller Alien - Vilani & Vargr was published.
- In 1990, MegaTraveller The Flaming Eye was published.
- In 1998, T4 Aliens Volume 1 was published.
- In 1998, GURPS Traveller: Alien Races 1 was published.
- In 2009, Mongoose Traveller: Vargr was published.
- Sector data has been T5 Second Survey reviewed and updated to T5 standards.
Notes (2023)[edit]
The sector has been completely updated on the Wiki, with world, subsector, and sector information expanded to match the data presented on Traveller Map. As many sources as possible have been checked for references: if any have been missed, please notify the team. Links to other Wiki articles have been added. Artwork has been included throughout - charts have been sourced from Traveller Map and modified to give better presentation.
