Gvael Thogaeng Gvekhs is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and both non-agricultural and preindustrial in nature.
- These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- The worldlets are, for the most part, unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- These worldlets are working towards being an industrial world but lack an adequate workforce to do so.
- It is a member of the Empire of Varroerth in the Oegerag Subsector of Ngathksirz Sector, which is part of the Vargr Extents.
- This world toils under the control of a military government with conditions reflecting that situation, including curtailed civil rights and limited freedoms.
- This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below standard for Charted Space.
- This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
- This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Gvael Thogaeng Gvekhs consists of two separate star systems lying around a light year apart.
Gvael Thogaeng is a trinary star system.
- The primary is a blue-white bright giant.
- The secondary is a white main sequence.
- The tertiary is a white dwarf stellar remnant.
Gvekhs is a binary star system.
- The primary is a white main sequence.
- The secondary is a yellow main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld. It orbits the secondary star.
- x10 secondary rocky worlds.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Gvekhs, designated as the mainworld, orbits the quaternary white main sequence star.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Gvekhs is an Asteroid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects.
- Asteroid Belt is the belt when it is the mainworld of a system.
- Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
None of the bodies within the Gvekhs belt retain an atmosphere.
- The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
- TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The Gvekhs belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Placeholder chart, asteroid belt.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Gvekhs is a Puzzle World and is designated as an Amber Zone. It presents particular risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that are not well understood.
- Visitors are advised to act with caution.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Gvekhs has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
- The world is host to a Vargr Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Gvekhs has a population of 20,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
- The population entirely consists of Vargr.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Gvekhs possesses a Technology Level of TL–4.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone and telegraphs, widespread printing.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early electricity, hydrocarbon internal combustion.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Trains and early automobiles.
- Water: Clippers and steam ships.
- Air: Dirigibles, balloons, very basic rockets.
World Government (G)[edit]
Gvekhs has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. This is a colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.
- The world is controlled by a military junta that strictly controls access to technology.
World Law (L)[edit]
Gvekhs has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
