Subsector P of Gashikan Sector.
Description[edit]
This subsector contains the storied world of Gashikan, which gives its name to the entire sector and to a string of interstellar empires.
Summary[edit]
Gashilean, subsector P of Gashikan, contains 40 worlds with an estimated combined population of 29 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,228, and a total economy of BCr95,645. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr615 through 39 starports (6 Class A, 12 Class B, 17 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 68,000 people. Driving this interstellar trade are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, seven Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Gashilean maintain 15 Scout bases and two Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Kakudan (Gashikan 2531), Gashikan (Gashikan 2732), Name (Gashikan 2736), Ardagir (Gashikan 2738), Khase (Gashikan 3032), and Liiriirda (Gashikan 3139).
Gashilean, subsector P of Gashikan, contains 85 stars and 481 identified planets; 20 monostellar systems, eight binary systems, five trinary systems, and seven systems with four or more stars. 36 of the 40 systems (90%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, three Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, six Poor (Po) worlds, six Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Gashilean has an estimated population of 29 billion distributed across six High population (Hi) worlds, six Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 14 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, eight Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Kashiis (Gashikan 3138), Ashir (Gashikan 3036), Ishmikuuka (Gashikan 2639), Gashikan (Gashikan 2732), Kaadladirmi (Gashikan 2938), and Khase (Gashikan 3032). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.
