Chejieb is a non-agricultural vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- Its economy and population are slowly growing and living conditions are expected to improve in the near future barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Glenauran Signatorate in the Rom's Loch Subsector of Yiklerzdanzh Sector.
- It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- This world contains an archaeological site with suspected high-tech remnants of the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.
- Vacuum worlds have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
- It is part of the Rom's Rosette star cluster.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Chejieb has a solitary primary star.
- It is a turbulent red giant.
Chejieb has a solitary primary star. Primary

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been partially surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x6 planetoid belts.
- x3 gas giants.
The system does not contain any secondary rocky worlds.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Chejieb is a satellite of a gas giant.
The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.
- They lie within the zone's colder outer H- region.
- They receive lower levels of stellar energy.
- They orbit far inside the star's Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Chejieb is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Chejieb has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- Vacuum worlds have no climate, but experience extreme differences in temperature between direct starlight and shade.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Chejieb has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
Chejieb contains a major archaeological site, rumored to contain high-tech remnants originating from the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.
- Access to the site is strictly controlled.
Chejieb was colonised in the late 500s, by Humans of Zhodani stock from a then-unabsorbed world in Zhodani Consulate space. When the Zhodani began to accelerate assimilation, this part of the population decided to leave rather than lose their cultural identity. Upon finding minerals to exploit, they settled on Chejieb.
The system is part of a cluster of stars known as Rom's Rosette.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Chejieb has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Chejieb has a population of 20,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
World Languages[edit]
- A variant of Zdetl, spoken with a marked accent.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Chejieb possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World Government (G)[edit]
Chejieb is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. The government leadership may select the bureaucracy leadership, but not its membership. Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy, and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. This ruling bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucractic apparatus or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence, like the military.
World Law (L)[edit]
Chejieb has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Machine guns, other automatic weapons, portable energy weapons, and other military weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Culture[edit]
The world lies within the Zhodani Shadow, a region strongly influenced by the society and culture of the Zhodani Consulate.
