Subsector C of Vanguard Reaches Sector, primarily claimed by the Trelyn Domain.
Description
A slice of the Tellerian Cluster (called the Telborne Spur) is located on the spinward border of the subsector.
Interestingly, the Trelyn Domain became what the Tellerian Cluster was intended at first to be and failed at: a bulwark from the Third Imperium to challenge Zhodani influence in the Vanguard Reaches.
History and Background
Coos Subsector is the origin point of the Emerling Plague.
Pre-Trelyn nations here included:
- Karelian Association: Based on eponymous Karelian
- Dysitin Empire: Dysitin Prime was once the centre of a small empire controlling three nearby systems, but when its failing technology proved unable to feed its own people, much less support an interstellar state, in 959 it shed its colonies and joined the Trelyn Domain in return for assistance.
