- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by indigenous Sophonts located in the Okhuemgir Subsector of Gzaekfueg Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
- It is the homeworld of the Hlanssai.

Mainworld Data
Mainworld Size (S)
Vrirhlanz is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
History & Background (Dossier)
Vrirhlanz is the homeworld of the Hlanssai, slender graceful humanoids covered in silky golden fur.
In prehistory, tectonic shifts created a “land bridge” between two continents, allowing a large number of different – and frequently dangerous – species to invade the territory of the proto-Hlanssai species. The resulting evolutionary pressure encouraged flexible, intelligent behaviour, demanding the ability to perceive situations quickly and in detail.
Hlanssai culture had achieved an elegant Bronze Age when the race was first contacted by the Vargr, and the systems they used changed only slightly in the centuries following.
World Starport (Sp)
Vrirhlanz has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The primary port facility is Vrir Down.
World Population (P)
Vrirhlanz has a population of 30,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
- Approximately 90% of the population is made up of Hlanssai.
- Around 10% of the population consists of Vargr.
World Technology Level (T)
Vrirhlanz possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early video and early satellite communication networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fuel cells, solar energy, and geothermal power sources.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, hovercraft, and bullet trains.
- Water: Hydrofoils and early triphibians.
- Air: Hang gliders and supersonic jets.
- Space: Deep space probes and interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)
Vrirhlanz is governed by a Participatory Democracy where eligible voters determine laws and policy. What determines an eligible voter varies. There may be smaller councils or regional bodies to draft the policies voted upon. Leadership of the government and all members of the bureaucracy are determined by the voting population.
Larger-scale organization for long-term aims is rare, generally only occurring when an unusually capable and charismatic Hlanssai perceives a particularly strong racial need, and persuades his people to work together to meet it.
World Law (L)
Vrirhlanz has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
