Vargr general.png

The Dzarrgh Run is an important local trade route passing through Tuglikki, Provence, Deneb, and Corridor Sectors.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Worlds lying on the Run are highlighted in tan. (Chart sourced from Traveller Map).

The Run stretches across the border between Provence and Corridor Sectors, with its spinward end just reaching into Deneb and Tuglikki Sectors.

It has 28 member systems.

It is named because it gives access to the Dzarrvaer Subsector, not because of the Dzarrgh Federate, which appeared later.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Dzarrgh Run is one of the key invasion routes for Vargr into the Imperium. It has seen many waves of corsairs and freebooters seeking riches and plunder, merchants and traders intent on making huge profits, and settlers eager to find worlds of their own.

It lay beyond the frontier of the Ziru Sirka and most of its worlds remained barren during the Vargr Pillaging, as there were easy pickings to be had within the crumbling Rule of Man. Terran explorers, the early Gvegh, and the later Aekhu expansions followed this route into the Corridor and Deneb Sectors, each leaving behind communities on some of the Run's worlds.

  • High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Run, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
