Adjacent Trade Routes[edit]
The New Vland Cluster is the smallest member of a group of named Mains lying in the region of Balkanized Space between the Vargr Extents and the Imperium.
- It forms an important bridge between the trailing end of the Dzarrgh Run and the coreward worlds of the Ushamla Main.
Dzarrgh Run[edit]
The Dzarrgh Run is an important trade route passing through the spinward-rimward quadrant of Provence Sector and the coreward part of Corridor Sector. It lies to spinward of the New Vland Cluster.
- It has 28 member worlds.
- Many of its worlds have Vargr populations.
A simple chart of the Run is shown, right:
- Worlds lying on the Run are highlighted in tan.
Ushamla Main[edit]
The Ushamla Main is a trade route winding along the coreward edge of Corridor Sector, to rimward of the New Vland Cluster.
Many of its worlds are neutral, though some of its rimward and trailing systems are members of the Imperium.
A simple chart of the Main and its neighbours is shown, right:

- Worlds lying within the Chosen Cluster, to coreward-trailing, are highlighted in tan.
- Worlds lying on the Ushamla Main, to rimward, are highlighted in tan.
History & Background / Dossier[edit]
The cluster lay beyond the frontier of the Ziru Sirka and most of its worlds remained barren during the Vargr Pillaging, as there were easy pickings to be had within the crumbling Rule of Man. Terran explorers, the early Gvegh, and the later Aekhu expansions passed through its systems into Corridor and Deneb Sectors, each leaving behind communities on some of the Cluster's worlds.
- High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move among the cluster, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
Due to their neutral status and perceived vulnerability the worlds of the Cluster are often the focus of Corsair activity. Many retain powerful Mercenary forces to bolster their defenses.
Faith and Belief[edit]
Taarskoism (worship of the old Vargr god Taarskoe) is widely followed by Vargr populations within the cluster.
