The Jewel class Private Yacht is a converted yacht starship.
- It is a civilian ship and a Private Yacht.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a streamlined, battered spherical hull fitted with advanced TL–14 1 G maneuver and Jump-1 drives and 42.0 ton fuel tanks. The fuel scoops and a purification plant permit gas giant refueling.
- It is armed for self defense with two single pulse laser turrets, which fire as two separate batteries.
- The yacht carries a single 30 ton ship's boat as a service and interface vehicle. The boat can carry the 10 ton ATV. There is also a 4 ton Air Raft.
- It has a 29 sophont crew and 24 marines. It carries a personal security detail of 24 marines. The luxury suites and steward's quarters were gutted and replaced with troop barracks.
