The Yedidah class Fleet Tender is a TL–9 naval transport.

Description (Specifications)

It is an unstreamlined, dispersed structure hull. The hull is fitted with on board fuel purification systems, but can not scoop its own fuel. The ship is equipped to transport one Khanate class System Defense Boat as a battle rider. They also carry twenty 20 ton Reaper class Attack Boats, organized into two squadrons. Capable of jump 1, with enough fuel tankage for two jumps, it can only manage 1 G acceleration, and has no agility. They carry ten triple sand caster turrets, in a single battery for defense. They mount ten triple pulse laser turrets, in a single battery for point defense versus fighters and missiles, and twenty triple missile turrets for attacking other vessels. There are a pair of model 3 fib computers to handle, sensors, tactical deployment and fighter operations. The 480 marines have a company of ten Grav tanks, one battery of grav mobile, self-propelled guns, and twenty Grav APCs organized into two assault companies.

History & Background (Dossier)

In Service: 15. Built on Yedidah (Reaver's Deep 0616) prior to the revolt. These ships have been in service for a long time and some are beginning to show their age. The Yedidah-class Fleet Tender is a design that serves with the Khan World League fleet.
