Yashodhan, subsector P of Empty Quarter, contains five worlds with an estimated combined population of 853 million, a per capita income of Cr3,746, and a total economy of BCr3,196. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr8 through 4 starports (2 Class A, 1 Class B, 1 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 1,730 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Yashodhan maintain one Naval base and one Military base. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 11). The highest technology level is 12 at Yashodhan (Empty Quarter 2635).

These are some of the more important historical events that have affected this area:

  • 50: The colony ships of the Enola Venture reach the subsector.
  • 63: Founding of the interstellar Yashodhan Democracy.
  • 64: A hastily scratched-together Imperial force is defeated by the Democracy at the Battle of Yashodhan.
  • 67: The Yashodhan War ends. The Imperium agrees to recognize Yashodhani sovereignty and its rights to trade and communicate freely with Irash.
  • 390: As the Democracy descends into internecine conflict, the Imperium strikes, destroying most of the Yashodhan Navy in a single battle. The interstellar Democracy dissolves soon afterwards.
