Subsector N of Spica Sector.
Tohira Subsector is a border region; its spinward worlds are members of the Solomani Confederation, while its trailing worlds are affiliated with the Hive Federation. The eponymous subsector capital of Tohira is where a majority of the citizens reside; they are mostly Solomani and related Humaniti. Cross-border trade with the Young Worlds of the Hivers to trailing is a major factor in the interstellar economies of Tohira Subsector, and there is also a great deal of commerce concentrated on routes leading spinward to the more populous areas of the Solomani Confederation.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Tohira, subsector N of Spica, contains 32 worlds with an estimated combined population of 12 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,349, and a total economy of BCr30,227. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr137 through 26 starports (3 Class A, 12 Class B, 7 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 20,615 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, eight Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Tohira maintain eight Naval bases, six Military bases, and one Hiver Embassy. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 14 at Murkur Folp (Spica 1333) and Nyihldeng (Spica 1338).
Tohira, subsector N of Spica, contains 47 stars and 330 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 13 of the 32 systems (40%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, six Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, 14 Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Tohira has an estimated population of 12 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, six Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, nine Low population (Lo) worlds, and two Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Tohira (Spica 1335). The population consists primarily of 3 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Hive Federation[edit]
The Hive Federation has jurisdiction over 18 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 2 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,585, and a total economy of BCr3,365. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr25 through 15 starports (2 Class A, 6 Class B, 4 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 3,565 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in the Hive Federation maintain four Naval bases, two Military bases, and one Hiver Embassy within the subsector. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 5 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Murkur Folp (Spica 1333) and Nyihldeng (Spica 1338).
The Hive Federation has an estimated population of 2 billion within the subsector, distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Cairgax (Spica 1438), Royran (Spica 1439), and Kasur (Spica 1436). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.
Solomani Confederation[edit]
The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over 14 worlds in the subsector with an estimated combined population of 10 billion, a per capita income of Cr2,499, and a total economy of BCr26,862. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr111 through 11 starports (1 Class A, 6 Class B, 3 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 17,050 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in the Solomani Confederation maintain four Naval bases and four Military bases within the subsector. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 4 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at New Freedom (Spica 1336).
The Solomani Confederation has an estimated population of 10 billion within the subsector, distributed across one High population (Hi) world, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, six Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world.
