Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Spica, subsector C of Spica, contains 29 worlds with an estimated combined population of 14 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,343, and a total economy of BCr92,374. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,464 through 24 starports (7 Class A, 4 Class B, 10 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 211,815 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, eight Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Spica maintain four Naval bases and three Military bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 11). The highest technology level is 15 at Nugent (Spica 2010).
Spica, subsector C of Spica, contains 41 stars and 276 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 12 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 20 of the 29 systems (68%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, four Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, four Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, nine Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Spica has an estimated population of 14 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, six Moderate population (Ph) worlds, seven Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Tyrolia (Spica 2003), Nugent (Spica 2010), and Apollo (Spica 2401). The population consists primarily of 2 sophont groups.
