Rronaetuts is a low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in size.
- This world has yet to take off economically or otherwise and the population remains low for reasons largely unknown.
- It is a client state of the Third Imperium in the Anarsi Subsector of Vland Sector.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
- 60% of the population is composed of Vargr.
- 40% of the population consists of humans.
- Rronaetuts is located on the Vilani Main.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Rronaetuts has a solitary primary star named Dzurrurrg.
- It is a red main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- Ekhfaa, a tiny vacuum worldlet orbiting just within the inner system.
- Rronaetuts, a small, very hot, very thin atmosphere world designated as the mainworld and orbiting at the inner edge of the narrow habitable zone.
- Khae Ze Uegh, a tiny vacuum worldlet orbiting at the outer edge of the habitable zone.
- Tsuukae, a small vacuum world orbiting within the outer system.
- A tiny but spherical vacuum world with an eccentric orbit within the cold outer system. It is designated alpha (α).
- Assangie, a trace atmosphere ice-capped world orbiting within the frozen outer system.
- Two tiny but spherical vacuum worldlets orbiting within the frigid outer system. They are designated beta (β) and gamma (γ).
- The Rraengnuu Belt and the Rruelurrgdhi Belt, two vast icy planetoid belts that mark the outer edge of the system.

Mainworld Data[edit]
Rronaetuts is a Twilight Zone World.
- One pole of the world permanently faces towards the star and one pole permanently faces away.
- In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary star eternally hangs on the horizon.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Rronaetuts is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Rronaetuts has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. This atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds, which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Rronaetuts has 38% of its surface covered by liquid water. There are a number of small seas and a major ocean in the southern hemisphere. Wilderness refueling is possible.

- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Beginning circa -4000, small communities of the Tagi race were seeded on several superhot worlds by the Vilani to aid in resource extraction. Both Ekhfaa and Rronaetuts itself support forgotten communities of this species; 13 remain on Rronaetuts, while 300 still live on Ekhfaa.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Rronaetuts has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Rronaetuts has a population of 10 sophonts (tens).
- This is a Low Population World and the population would be too low to sustain itself without significant outside assistance. This may represent a transient population such as the crew of a starship, the final survivors of a dying colony, an advance team setting up to receive colonists, or a small outpost where establishing a colony is not the primary objective.
- 6 individuals are Vargr.
- 4 individuals are Human.
- Unknown to them, 13 Tagi are also present.
Urbanization[edit]
Almost all of the world is wilderness. There is only one urban center:
- Dzurr (population approximately 10) – all of the (non-Tagi) residents live within the starport.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Rronaetuts possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early video and early satellite communication networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fuel cells, solar energy, and geothermal power sources.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, hovercraft, and bullet trains.
- Water: Hydrofoils and early triphibians.
- Air: Hang gliders and supersonic jets.
- Space: Deep space probes and interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Rronaetuts is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is by representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.
World Law (L)[edit]
Rronaetuts has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Portable energy weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 3 (very scarce)
- Labor: 0 (none available)
- Infrastructure: 0 (non-existent)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 1 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 1 (extremely xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 1 (very typical)
- Symbols: 3 (concrete)
World Timeline[edit]
Major events that have affected this world and the wider region that it lies within:
- -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka claims and settles worlds across the region.
- -3810: the Vargr discover jump technology and begin an era of expansion.
- -2404 to -2215: the Interstellar Wars.
- -2204 to -1776: the Rule of Man administers the worlds of the region. Conflicts escalate between Vargr and humans as the Vargr occupy former Ziru Sirka territory.
- circa -1700: Vargr rimward expansion gradually ceases: the border between human and Vargr space stabilizes.
- -1776 to 0: the Long Night. There is widespread regression within the area and some worlds become barren.
- The Year 0: the Third Imperium is founded.
- 300-420: the First Survey charts the system.
- 604 to 622: the Imperial Civil War. The region suffers disruption and widespread economic issues.
- 624: the Express Boat Network is established, facilitating communications, trade, and economic growth within the area.
- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published. Information about the system becomes widely available.
