Pwica is a poor, barren desert-like hellworld with no overt population, government, or law level.
- This world has no free-standing water.
- Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
- This world could probably be populated by very determined colonists if any had an inclination to do so...
- It is a member of the Haddox Association in the Haddox Subsector of Astron Sector.
- It is a binary world.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Pwica has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x10 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Pwica is the major component in a binary planet pair.
- The two worlds have a similar mass.
- The two worlds orbit a barycenter once every few days.
The mainworld and its binary companion orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.
- They lie within the zones colder outer H- region.
- They receive lower levels of stellar energy.
- They orbit inside the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Pwica is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.
- Tidal stresses generated by the worlds binary companion cause frequent seismic and geological activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Pwica has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- The world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.
- Oxygen is produced by photocatalytic conversion of surface materials by stellar energy.
- Fresh surface material is constantly exposed through processes such as seismic activity, volcanism, or erosion.
- The oxygen rapidly depletes from the atmosphere through oxidization with surface materials: a rough equilibrium between production and depletion exists.
- The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere varies according to the density of global cloud cover.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Pwica has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
- The world has an arid, hostile surface environment.
Satellites:[edit]
Pwica retains a relatively large, close, trace atmosphere binary planet companion.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life: the world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Pwica is a member of the Haddox Association, a small interstellar polity located within the subsector.
- The system has been claimed by the Association for more than three centuries.
- The world has never been settled.
- Interstellar traffic to the system is extremely limited.
- The resources of the system are largely untouched.
Detailed information about the system is limited.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Pwica has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Pwica possesses a Tech Level of TL–0.
- The world has no technological base.
World Government (G)[edit]
Pwica has no government or ruling authority of any kind.
World Military[edit]
None.
World Law (L)[edit]
Pwica has no law level. No laws of any kind are enforced.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 6 (few)
- Labor: 0 (none)
- Infrastructure: 0 (none)
- Efficiency: -5 (extremely poor)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Demographics (P)[edit]
