Summary[edit]

Outrun, subsector C of Crucis Margin, contains 26 worlds with an estimated combined population of 519 million, a per capita income of Cr1,994, and a total economy of BCr1,035. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr398 through 22 starports (2 Class A, 6 Class B, 8 Class C, 6 Class D) employing 78,330 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Outrun maintain two Naval bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Rickamil (Crucis Margin 1702), Doven (Crucis Margin 1706), Sluiskin (Crucis Margin 2010), and Tsung (Crucis Margin 2407).

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Ramayan culture is based in this subsector, and historically had influence over other worlds in the region.

In the 1110s, a new government on Souris instituted a series of expansionist policies. This new leadership proclaimed the Principality of Souris and began annexing nearby systems, both peacefully and by force. The nobility of Souris were promised positions of rule over these newly acquired systems.

Linguistic Topography: 1105[edit]

The following languages are among the most commonly used within this astrographic region:

  • Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium and common to many human worlds; in this region, mostly variant dialects.
    • Changlic: A version of Anglic with heavy influence from Terran East Asian languages.
  • Galian: The Solomani-derived language of Human corporate interests and star nations of Gateway Sector, immediately to coreward.
