Mai has a very thin atmosphere and no surface water. The system has a population between one and 10 million sophonts. This world is designated an Amber Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions make it dangerous to visitors. There is a habitat or settlement for criminals or exiles from other worlds here. The world has a climate with temperatures at the upper range of human endurance. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Mai, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Kiiar Paa.
Astrography and planetology
Mai is a member of the Dagudashaag Main.
Mai is an astronomical curiosity (Some might even say an anaomaly) and extremely unpleasant to boot. It is trapped between its twin stars, which orbit around the world. Two planetoids belts beyond the stars and two small moonless gas giants orbit beyond them. The gravity and EM activity of the stars make travel to the central world be difficult, and Mai is rarely visited.
Temperatures on the worlds are high and there is extreme volcanism. There is one small northern polar lake, the only free-standing water on the surface.
