Bosslwck is a pre-agricultural, pre-Industrial, moderate population world with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts in population size.
- It requires significant imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- Its economy and population are growing and living conditions are expected to slowly improve barring outside forces.
- It is a member of The Protectorate in the Inverness Subsector of Far Frontiers Sector.
- This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
- It is also known as Bossilwick.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Bosslwck has a solitary primary star named Belicose.
- It is a yellow main sequence.
System Data [2][edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld (orbiting at 0.8 AU).
- x4 secondary rocky worlds. Tassilik (orbiting at 0.2 AU), Padderborn (orbiting at 0.5 AU), Trebberhorn (orbiting at 1.4 AU), and Samminon (orbiting at 5.0 AU).
- x3 gas giants. Fissilin (a SGG orbiting at 19.4 AU), Sissilin (a LGG orbiting at 38.6 AU), and Drissilin (a SGG orbiting at 77.0 AU)
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Bosslwck is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Bosslwck has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. While a Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Bosslwck has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (St)[edit]
Bosslwck has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to a Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Bosslwck has a population of 900,000,000 sophonts (hundreds of millions).
- The population has Zhodani, Imperial, and Vlazhdumecta heritage.
- Many families can trace their ancestry to pre-Long Night Vilani colonists.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
- Local languages descended from Vlazhdumecta.
- Riftian Anglic, a dialect of one of the two principal languages of the Imperium.
- Zdetl, the language of the Zhodani and the Zhodani Consulate.

Bosslwck is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are young governments, coming as a recent change and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.
World Law (L)[edit]
Bosslwck has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
