Bigg's World is a high-population, industrial world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- Its economy is rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to rapidly improve barring outside forces.
- It is a member of The Protectorate in the Taemerlyk Subsector of Far Frontiers Sector.
- It is a member of the Caractacalla Scatters.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Bigg's World has a solitary primary star named Desecá.
- It is a white main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld, (orbiting at 2.2 AU).
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- The named worlds are Piá (orbiting at 0.6 AU), Toppá (orbiting at 1.0 AU), and Mortá (orbiting at 1.4 AU).
- Three unnamed worlds orbit in the far outer system.
- x1 small gas giant, Endá (orbiting at 3.8 AU).
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
- It receives lower levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Bigg's World is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Bigg's World has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. While a Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- While the world receives lower levels of stellar energy, high levels of carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and other greenhouse gases help maintain moderate temperatures.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Bigg's World has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Satellites[edit]
Bigg's World retains a single large moon named Pietá.
- It orbits once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
A basic map of Bigg's World, showing the seas (blue), hills and uplands (paler brown), mountain ranges (darker brown), plains and savannahs (tan-green), deserts (tan-orange), forested regions (green), and the polar icecaps (pale blue).
- Major urban centers are marked in red. Flying cities are marked in blue.
- Nimbus, the capital, is ringed in blue. It hovers at an altitude of around 6000 meters.
- The starport is marked by a red cross. It lies on the shores of a large lake and is the location of The Citadel, the fortress-palace of the world's rulers.
- The Citadel occupies a long peninsula that juts into the lake. The peninsula is closed off by a wall.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
As a member of The Protectorate, Bigg's World sends a specially selected Representative to the High Council, the polity's governing body.
- The role is prestigious and is highly sought.
- The choice of Representative is entirely at the whim of the world's current ruler.
Bigg's World also selects a Special Delegate to represent the unpopulated world of Jacobi.
- This choice lays with the world's government, rather than the world's ruler.
World Population (P)[edit]
Bigg's World has a population of 20,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).

Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.
The world is the personal fiefdom of the immensely wealthy Biggs Family. The current patriarch is Tyrone Biggs.
World Law (L)[edit]
Bigg's World has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
