The Alakar Trace is a small cluster located in Oasis Subsector of Zarushagar Sector.

The Alakar Trace is a small cluster of worlds located on the central-trailing edge of Zarushagar Sector.

The Trace is not considered to be part of The Network, the web of mains that terminate within the sector.

- Mixed heritage (Major Race): widely spread across the Trace.
- Solomani (Major Race): many genetically distinct individuals and communities.
- Vilani (Major Race): many genetically distinct individuals and communities.
- Non-Human Races
- Peth of Peolanti (Minor Race): primarily found on their homeworld but occasionally encountered within the Trace.
