Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Federation has an extensive merchant marine fleet which serves their manufacturing and agricultural needs. The population enjoys a decent rate of resource replenishment under normal circumstances.
Government & Politics[edit]
The Federation of Alsas is a coalition of systems. All member worlds have some political input commensurate with their population and tax burden.
- It is usually classified as a type of Confederation.
Goals[edit]
They struggle to maintain the balance of power between factions that have aligned with the Zhodani and those that have allied with the Third Imperium. They otherwise focus on protecting their borders in hopes of conducting trade free of corsair activity.
Military & Intelligence[edit]
There is a single Naval Base in the Federation, with a single battle fleet stationed there. The Alsas Navy has access to 10,800,000 ton capacity naval shipyards and has produced a variety of heavy combatants. These ships can deploy 1,200 battalions of marines. The ships are new, and were all built at TL–12, at the naval shipyards of Afellahlah.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Twelve worlds, led by Afellahlah, established the Federation circa 800. It has taken a generally pro-Imperial stance in interstellar politics.
Symbols[edit]
The Protectorate symbol is a circle quartered by two arcs, with a stylized four pointed star in an upper quadrant. The star can be depicted on either the left or the right.
- The symbol is traditional: its exact meaning is unclear.
