Yulreale is a nonindustrial, pre-rich water world, which has 90% or more of its surface covered in an ocean of water.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It still lacks adequate population to expand its economy to a rich status.
- Its economy is growing and living conditions are expected to rise in the near future barring outside forces.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by Aslan sophonts located in the Khtaoh Subsector of Canopus Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)
Yulreake is a member of (and the namesake of) the Yulreale Cluster, a cluster and trade route lying within the spinward-rimward part of Canopus Sector. The cluster is divided between large Aslan and Solomani human populations.
Despite the world not being a part of the Confederation, Solomani Security keeps a close eye on things to ensure the security of the State and the well-being of its loyal citizens. Aslan are uniformly less likely to be cooperative with Solomani interests, but almost anyone could be a SolSec informant, passing on all sorts of useful information: some gain a reward or benefit for their actions, while others can be manipulated or coerced.
World Starport (St)
Yulreake has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)
Yulreake has a population of 100,000 sophonts (hundreds of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
- The population almost entirely consists of Aslan.
Urbanization
Aslan architecture tends towards rounded forms and shapes. Structures typically feature large open spaces, concealed chambers, balconies, hidden passageways, and hideaways. Artistry is favored over efficiency in design – every Aslan building is different.
- Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.
Linguistic Topography
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Rim Anglic, a dialect of Anglic and the principal language of the Solomani Confederation.
- Trokh, the principal language of the Aslan Hierate
World Technology Level (T)
Yulreake possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-4.
World Government (G)
Yulreake is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
- Note that this is a human interpretation of the feudal-based local Aslan government.
World Law (L)
Yulreake has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
