- It has difficult relations with its neighbor, the Kingdom of Evariidi.
The Republic is a Representative Democracy supported by a large bureaucracy.
It maintains a large, professional, well-equipped standing army.

The Republic and the Kingdom of Evariidi are (as of 1107) engaged in talks with the aim of settling some long-standing differences.
