Description / Specifications

Baradis Subsector is named for the Baradis system and its red giant primary star. It lies within the Baradine Divide and is considered to be the area where the Border Rifts join the Great Void. Baradis Subsector is an undeveloped backwater filled with relatively marginal worlds. The Retreat lies within its borders.

Baradis subsector contains 10 systems with a total population of 16.71 million Sophonts and is named for the (2935 Halcyon). The majority of the subsector lies within

  • Basilisk's Eye (1723 Tarchon Sector). The extremely luminous white supergiant star, lying around 153 parsecs to coreward-trailing, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds of the Subsector.
  • Demon's Eye (1621 Far Home Sector). The intensely luminous blue supergiant star, lying approximately 21 parsecs to coreward-trailing at its closest point, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds of the Subsector.
