Border Rifts

Regions of lower stellar density that loosely follow the border between Halcyon Sector and Far Home Sector.

Description / Specifications

The Border Rifts are generally considered to be minor extensions of the Great Void and link with the Moat Rifts to coreward. They are divided into three distinct regions:

• the Rissa Void to coreward, crossed by the Scybrian Run Star Lane
• the Harmal Deep in the center, and
• the Baradine Divide to rimward, crossed by the Wolfs Tail Star Lane.

History & Background / Dossier

The Border Rifts present a considerable obstacle to interstellar travel, channelling starships into narrow corridors of stars.
