Praytsirv Subsector is located far away from most of Charted Space.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is named for the Droyne sport caste, as it was (correctly) predicted to be a subsector the Wave Chasers would not enter, but instead one that traders from whatever civilization they eventually encountered would detour through to reach Yaskoyloyt, having largely traveled along Wave Chasers worlds rimward of this point.
- The prediction was originally based on routing around the Ognar Worlds, but would prove to be self-fulfilling: the Wave Chasers learned of this reason for the subsector's name and so, when the traders eventually came, advised them to go through Praytsirv Subsector.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Praytsirv, subsector F of Datsatl contains 22 worlds with an estimated population of 701 million, a per capita income of Cr2,288, and a total economy is BCr1,604. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1 through 4 starports (0 Class A, 2 Class B, 2 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 710 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Praytsirv maintain one Scout base. The average technology level is 1 (with most between 0 and 5). The highest technology level is 11 at Vioydols (Datsatl 0913) and Nuayho (Datsatl 1211).
Praytsirv, subsector F of Datsatl contains 23 stars and 242 identified planets; 21 monostellar systems, one binary system, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 20 of the 22 systems (90%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, seven Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Praytsirv has an estimated population of 701 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and 17 Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Ssuui (Datsatl 1012). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.

Unclaimed[edit]
The Unclaimed has jurisdiction over 16 worlds with an estimated population of less than 1 million, a per capita income of Cr0, and a total economy is BCr0. Driving this economy are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds.
The Unclaimed has no inhabitants.
Yaskoydri Technocracy[edit]
The Yaskoydri Technocracy has jurisdiction over six worlds with an estimated population of 701 million, a per capita income of Cr2,288, and a total economy is BCr1,604. The governments in Yaskoydri Technocracy maintain one Scout base. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 2 and 11). The highest technology level is 11 at Vioydols (Datsatl 0913) and Nuayho (Datsatl 1211).
The Yaskoydri Technocracy has an estimated population of 701 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population world is Ssuui (Datsatl 1012). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
This sector is most important for what failed to happen here around -4000, during the Yaskoydri Technocracy's First Doctrinal War.
Prior to the war, this area was the rimward-spinward limit of the Technocracy's colonization, most of the worlds being Low Population Worlds in the process of building infrastructure to welcome further colonists. As such, in some cases when people were suddenly needed to crew the Technocracy's first true warships, colonies were completely abandoned. More often, a squad of aggressors found and easily annihilated the colony via orbital bombardment. It is unclear whether just one squad slipped past Yaskoyloyt to perform this rampage, or if multiple did. Either way, the Technocracy eventually caught up to and executed them, too late to save their colonies.
During the middle of this, Zhodani explorers from the First Core Expedition arrived. Having seen the scars of destruction on the Ognar Worlds, they then saw fresher destruction in this subsector. Some of their number failed to report to a preplanned rally; it may never be known if these scouts met and fell to the marauders or if they simply misjumped. Either way, the Zhodani decided to cut their losses and leave, naming the entire sector "Datsatl" - roughly, "Dead Place". Patrols were maintained for a while in case whatever was happening ever came spinward, but it never did.
By the Third Doctrinal War, the Technocracy had recolonized this subsector. Said war once again saw the colonies evacuated and destroyed via deliberate action, not even leaving ruins this time. Thus, as of 1105 those worlds the Technocracy has not re-reclaimed are not marked as Die Back Worlds, but instead Unclaimed Worlds.
