Name	Solar Sail	They are an efficient capable drive, but lack power compared to other drives and are regarded as a curiosity mostly used for luxury, sportsmen, emergency use, or by those with no more efficient technologies.
Drive Type	Maneuver Drive	The efficacy of such drives is inverse to a ship's location within the heliosphere. Acceleration and power fall dramatically as a ship grows distant from a solar system.
Velocity	Sublight	No known solar sail can enable FTL traverse although some speculate and hypothesize it possible. Solar sail technologies from outside Charted Space may have different capabilities.
Duration	Near-unlimited	Most versions have near unlimited endurance while in the system heliosphere.
