Hrasalrarar is a poor, low-population world with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts in population size.
- This poor world is struggling to establish itself and living conditions in many areas are rudimentary.
- It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal in the Shillelagh Subsector of Iphigenaia Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Hrasalrarar has a solitary primary star.
- It is a large orange subgiant.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x5 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones warmer inner H+ region
- It receives higher levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Hrasalrarar is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
- The world is seismically and geologically active.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Hrasalrarar has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- The world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.
- Oxygen is produced by photocatalytic conversion of surface materials by stellar energy.
- Fresh surface material is constantly exposed through processes such as seismic activity, volcanism, or erosion.
- The oxygen rapidly depletes from the atmosphere through oxidization with surface materials: a rough equilibrium between production and depletion exists.
- The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere varies according to the density of global cloud cover.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Hrasalrarar has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.
- The world experiences high temperatures.
- Much of the surface is an arid, hostile environment.
Satellites:[edit]
Hrasalrarar retains a close vacuum moon.
- It orbits once every few days.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life: the world has an abiotic oxygen atmosphere.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Hrasalrarar is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal.
Aslan settlement began during the 1060s.
- Prior to settlement, Hrasalrarar was a barren world.
- Construction is ongoing in many areas.
- The resources of the system remain largely untapped.
The system is relatively quiet. There is only limited activity.
- Commercial traffic is infrequent: ships only occasionally visit the system.
- Commo picks up occasional signals and private chatter. Communications are in Trokh.
- One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
- A vessel or two may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
Note that social data, though frequently updated, may be out of date: additional groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Hrasalrarar has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Hrasalrarar possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-2.
World Government (G)[edit]
Hrasalrarar is governed by a single Aslan Clan. Similar to a Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy where a single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government.
- The human government code listed on star charts corresponds to Aslan Government Code J.
World Military[edit]
A privately retained (mercenary) company of professional warriors, in service to the dominant clan.
World Law (L)[edit]
Hrasalrarar has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Machine guns, other automatic weapons, portable energy weapons, and other military weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 9 (moderate)
- Labor: 2 (hundreds)
- Infrastructure: 1 (extremely limited)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 1 (ordinary)
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Hrasalrarar has a population of 6000 Aslan.
Urbanization[edit]
A central urban area surrounded by smaller satellite communities.
- Outlying areas have a few isolated structures or compounds.
- Structures and facilities are sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Almost all of the surface of the world is wilderness.
All buildings are constructed in the distinctive curved style of the Aslan.
- The oldest structures on the world are no more than 50 years old.
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 2 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 4 (extremely aloof)
- Strangeness: 9 (extremely confusing)
- Symbols: B (abstract)
World Timeline[edit]

- 995-1065: the Second Survey charts the system.
- 1060s: Aslan begin migrating across the Great Rift.
- after 1060: Aslan settle the system.
- 1065: the Second Survey is published.
