Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Hostel class Destroyer is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This light class of TL–13 Destroyer is pretty fast and tries to stay nimble. It has Jump-3 range, 6 Gs acceleration, and 6-Agility. There is a Model/7 fib ship computer, and a huge power plant for its size to power the computer and energy hungry weapons. This class is used for screening and probing. The Jarnac Pashalic Navy relies on this class to protect the battle line's flanks and for independent patrolling.
- It is armed with four short ranged fusion cannons in the nose, two heavy missile bays, and a battery of beam lasers. It has a pair of triple sand caster turrets and screens for defense.
- There is a 30-ton ship's boat to support the marine platoon. The marines have drop capsules for orbital assaults.
- It has an 80 sophont crew and 30 marines.
